We are currently seeking a Mild/Moderate Special Education Teacher for a full-time school-based opportunity in Yreka, CA for the 2026-2027 school year.

Position Details:
  • Full-time, Monday-Friday.
  • 8:00 AM-4:00 PM.
  • 40 hours per week.
  • Billable lunch.
  • Grades K-8.
  • Resource setting.
  • Support provided across a few small schools in the Yreka area.
  • ASAP start through June 4, 2027.
  • In-person, school-based setting.

Qualifications:
  • Active California Education Specialist Instruction Credential.
  • Mild/Moderate authorization required.
  • Previous school-based special education experience preferred.
  • Experience developing and implementing IEPs.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with students, families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams.

Pay:
  • Up to $70.00 per hour.
  • Up to $2,800 per week.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialized instruction and academic support to students with mild to moderate disabilities.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families.
  • Maintain required documentation and ensure compliance with special education requirements.
  • Support students across assigned school sites and educational settings.
