AB Staffing Solutions is hiring Special Education Paraprofessionals for the 2025–2026 school year in North Spokane, WA. These school-based positions support teachers and students by providing instructional, behavioral, and social-emotional assistance throughout the school day.
Position Details:
- School-year contract (2025–2026).
- 30 hours per week.
- Schedule follows school calendar.
- Classroom and student assignment varies.
- On-site support with a dedicated recruiter.
What You’ll Do:
- Support students with special needs under the direction of certified staff.
- Assist with classroom instruction in small-group or individual settings.
- Help monitor student behavior and encourage positive engagement.
- Support daily routines and transitions throughout the school day.
- Assist teachers with classroom preparation and documentation.
- Follow instructional plans, behavior strategies, and safety procedures.
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to meet student needs.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to meet Washington State paraeducator qualification requirements.
- Previous experience working with children or in a school setting preferred.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow written plans and maintain confidentiality.
- Willingness to complete required training and clearances.
- May include standing, walking, lifting, or assisting students as needed.
- Work is performed in a school environment.
