School Psychologists Needed in near Chicago! Seeking experienced school psychologists interested in working with highly engaged students. 25/26 School Year.

Position Details:

Location: Orland Park, IL.
Contract through the school year - 37.5 to 40 hours per week.
The contract follows the academic district calendar - 36 weeks.

Compensation & Benefits:

Weekly Pay: $2,250 - $2,325.
Untaxed Per Diems & Travel Stipend for eligible travelers.

Requirements:

Graduate Degree (M.A., Ed.S., M.S. Ed., Ph.D., Ed.D., or Psy.D.) in psychology, social work, or counseling.
Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) Endorsement for School Psychologist.
Experience conducting psycho-educational evaluations.
Must possess strong communication and organizational skills.
Must demonstrate initiative and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Must have the ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time; see and read a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids; hear and understand speech at normal levels and on the telephone; speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly in person and on the telephone; and the ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions; May include frequent walking, standing, stooping, lifting up to approximately 25 pounds and occasional lifting of equipment and/or materials weighing up to approximately 40 pounds may be required.

Essential Functions:

Administers and Interprets assessment information accurately and presents findings/recommendations.
Coordinates and participates in benchmarking and progress monitoring.
Individual and group counseling.
Conducts classroom observations of students to analyze behavior and learning dynamics.
Develops short and long-term goals for students assigned for counseling.
Provides consultation to teachers and parents on strategies to effect positive changes in the student and his environment.
