School Psychologist.
Rapid City, SD | Contract Position.

Position Overview:
AB Staffing is seeking a School Psychologist for the 2026 –2027 school year in South Dakota. This role follows the school district calendar and supports students across K–12 (specific placement discussed during interview).

Responsibilities:

Conduct psychoeducational evaluations using standardized assessments.
Participate in eligibility determinations and IEP development.
Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Provide consultative support for behavioral, academic, and social-emotional needs.
Contribute to MTSS and intervention planning.
Maintain compliant documentation.

Qualifications:

Master’s, Ed.S., or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
South Dakota licensure (or eligibility).
School-based experience preferred.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a counselor, school psychologist, or teacher in a school setting
Possesses a State of South Dakota certification and Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP)
Possess State of South Dakota certification as an Academic and Mental Health Evaluator
