Job Description
South Western School District is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide 1:1 nursing support for a 6th-grade student during the 2026-2027 school year. The assigned student requires medical support related to G-tube care and venting, as well as monitoring and support for a seizure diagnosis. The RN will work closely with school staff to ensure the student can safely participate in the educational environment throughout the school day.

Position Details:
- Position: Registered Nurse (RN)
- Caseload: 1:1 Student Support
- Student Grade: 6th Grade
- Start Date: September 7, 2026
- End Date: May 27, 2027
- Schedule: Monday-Friday
- Hours: 8:10 AM - 3:15 PM
- Weekly Hours: Approximately 32.5 hours/week
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized nursing care throughout the school day.
- Support the student's G-tube care and venting needs.
- Monitor and respond to seizure-related medical concerns.
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation.
- Collaborate with school personnel and caregivers to support student health and safety.
- Follow district policies and physician care plans.
Requirements:
- Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Experience with pediatric, school-based, or special-needs nursing preferred.
- Knowledge of G-tube care and seizure management is a plus.
Compensation:
š² Up to $1787.50 per week!
