AB Staffing Solutions is hiring Registered Behavioral Technicians (RBTs) for the 2026–2027 school year in South Carolina. These school-based positions support students by implementing behavior support strategies and assisting with social, emotional, and behavioral development under the supervision of certified staff.
Position Details:
- School-year contract (2026/2027).
- Hours per week vary depending on location.
- Schedule follows school calendar.
- Student assignment varies by location.
- On-site support with a dedicated recruiter.
What You’ll Do:
- Support students with behavioral and social-emotional needs.
- Implement behavior intervention strategies as directed by certified staff.
- Assist with data collection and documentation of student progress.
- Support students during classroom activities, transitions, and routines.
- Encourage positive behavior and skill development.
- Collaborate with teachers and support teams.
- Follow safety procedures, behavior plans, and school policies.
Requirements:
- Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) or equivalent credential.
- Ability to meet South Carolina State paraeducator / behavioral support qualification requirements, as applicable.
- Experience working with children or in a school or behavioral setting preferred.
- Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow written plans.
- Willingness to complete required training, clearances, and ongoing professional development.
- Active school-based role requiring standing, walking, and student support.
- May include assisting students during behavioral or emotional escalation.
- Work performed in a school setting.
