We are seeking dedicated Mental Health Professionals to join our correctional healthcare team. This role is ideal for Master’s-level clinicians, including non-licensed professionals, who want to provide counseling, crisis intervention, and psychosocial assessments while gaining high-level experience.
Position Details:
- Setting: Correctional Mental Health.
- Contract Length: 13 weeks (option to extend).
- Provide consultations for individuals with mental health or substance use challenges.
- Conduct psychosocial assessments and preliminary diagnostic impressions.
- Deliver counseling, crisis intervention, and case management services.
- Collaborate with medical and behavioral health teams.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in behavioral health, counseling, social work, psychology, or related field.
- Experience or interest in mental health and/or substance use populations.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- No SD license required.
