We are seeking compassionate, motivated Mental Health Associates to join our growing correctional healthcare team. This role is perfect for Bachelor’s-level professionals interested in gaining hands-on experience supporting individuals facing mental health or substance use challenges.
Position Details:
- Setting: Correctional Mental Health.
- Contract Length: 13 weeks (option to extend).
- Conduct psychosocial assessments and provide supportive counseling.
- Assist with brief evaluations and coordinate referrals to other service providers.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver mental health services.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health, human services, psychology, social work, or related field.
- Interest or experience in mental health or substance use support.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- No SD license required.
