Job Description:
South Western School District is hiring a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide 1:1 nursing services for a 6th-grade student during the 2026-2027 school year.
The student requires nursing support related to G-tube care and venting, along with monitoring of a seizure disorder. This is an excellent opportunity for an LPN seeking a consistent school-based schedule while making a meaningful impact on a student's educational experience.

Position Details:
- Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Caseload: 1:1 Student Support
- Student Grade: 6th Grade
- Start Date: September 7, 2026
- End Date: May 27, 2027
- Schedule: Monday-Friday
- Hours: 8:10 AM - 3:15 PM
- Weekly Hours: Approximately 32.5 hours/week
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one nursing care during the school day.
- Assist with G-tube care and venting as outlined in the student's care plan.
- Monitor the student's health status and seizure-related needs.
- Document nursing services and communicate with appropriate school personnel.
- Promote a safe and supportive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Active Pennsylvania Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- Experience working with pediatric or medically fragile students preferred.
- Knowledge of G-tube care and seizure support is beneficial.
Compensation:
š² $Up to 1,300 per week!
