AB Staffing is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA – Float) to support multiple school locations in the Crestwood, IL area for the 2025–2026 school year. This school-based role follows the academic calendar and offers consistent weekday hours with the flexibility and variety of floating between campuses.
Position Details:
- Location: Crestwood, IL (multiple nearby school sites)
- Schedule: Full-time school hours - 32,5 hours per week
- Contract: Full 2025–2026 school year
- Setting: School-based (K–12)
- Role Type: Float OT
- Caseload, mileage expectations, and school placements discussed prior to offer to ensure a great fit
- Weekly Pay: $1,575

Key Responsibilities:
- Implement treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Provide direct therapy services to students per IEP goals
- Support students’ functional, fine motor, sensory, and school participation skills
- Collaborate with teachers, OTs, and multidisciplinary teams
- Travel between assigned school buildings as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and state requirements
- Promote safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environments
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Active Illinois COTA License
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Comfortable floating between multiple school sites
- BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to meet standard pre-employment requirements
